We’ve been producing our own tea seeds since the very beginning. As the tea plant is not self-fertile, the seeds always come from crosses between two tea plants of different genetics.

Our seeds come from crosses between the different cultivars grown in our tea garden at Trébihan in Brittany.

We’ve been producing our own tea seeds since the very beginning. As the tea plant is not self-fertile, the seeds always come from crosses between two tea plants of different genetics. Our seeds are certified organic .

Our seeds come from crosses between the different cultivars grown in our tea garden at Trébihan: Trévarez, Kemper, Cuilü, Kolkhida, Coréen, etc.

We favour cross-breeding by natural pollination. This means that we can only identify one of the parents: the one carrying the seed. The other (unidentifiable) parent may be 100 metres or more away!
