Description
Crafted with care and passion in Brittany, in the heart of the Blavet Valley, this black tea is the result of traditional craftsmanship and an environmentally responsible approach to cultivation. Like all of our teas, it is certified organic. No synthetic fertilizers or pesticides are used, and every harvest is carried out entirely by hand.
Black tea is produced through the complete oxidation of the leaves, a process that gives it its rich aromatic profile and beautiful amber liquor. The leaves used for this tea come from a fine hand plucking, consisting of one bud and one to two young leaves, carefully harvested from a selection of cultivars chosen for black tea production. They are then expertly processed in our Blavet Valley workshop.
When dry, the leaves are slender, well-shaped, and carefully twisted, displaying attractive mahogany-brown hues.
In the cup, the liquor is clear and displays an elegant bright amber colour. Its aromatic bouquet reveals delicate woody notes, complemented by hints of cocoa, honey, and caramel. The liquor is round, smooth, and remarkably indulgent, with a long, lingering finish.
