Description
This oolong tea, also known as “blue tea”, is carefully crafted in our Blavet Valley workshop. Its processing is the result of a close collaboration with Jakez Hubert (Roches de l’Ellé).
Oolong, or “blue,” teas are complex to produce and require precise expertise. A “blue tea” is defined by leaves that are partially oxidised and/or lightly roasted. The leaves used to create this tea come from a fine hand harvest, consisting of the bud and one to two young leaves, picked from our Shuixian blue tea cultivars.
Before infusion, the leaves appear tightly twisted and uniform, processed in the spirit of the Baozhong style. They offer a light, delicate aroma.
Once infused, this Breton blue tea reveals a golden to amber colour. The palate is sweet and indulgent, with a long, lingering finish. Its texture is smooth and velvety, and its aromatic profile is floral and fruity, with a refined complexity.
10 g pouch.
