Filleule des Fées

The leaves used to make this ‘made in France’ green tea are hand-picked from our green tea cultivars in the Vallée du Blavet, and include the bud plus one or two leaves. They are then processed in our local workshop in Brittany.

Green tea’ is tea whose withering has been stopped and whose leaves are not oxidised. In fact, once plucked, they undergo a fixation process to stop oxidation. The leaves are then rolled and dried in a meticulous process that guarantees the quality of our Breton green tea.

We prefer ‘monocultivar’ tea, i.e. tea made from the leaves of a single cultivar identified at the time of plucking and before processing. This allows us to offer a range of green teas from camellias to specific teas, with subtle and unique flavours and aromas.

Our tea is produced each year from March onward and released gradually with each harvest. It’s available in summer at the Tea Garden’s pop-up shop, then online at the end of the season depending on remaining stock.
Orders are shipped once a week (more frequently during the holiday season). Once dispatched, delivery usually takes 3 to 5 business days, depending on the carrier.
