Description
This green tea is crafted with care and passion in Brittany, in the Blavet Valley.
Green tea is a tea whose oxidation is halted shortly after harvesting in order to preserve the freshness and aromatic qualities of the leaves. The leaves used to produce this tea come from a fine hand-plucking standard consisting of one bud and one to two leaves. They are harvested from our Longjing Jiukeng tea plants, a traditional Chinese cultivar particularly renowned for the production of high-quality green teas.
Artisanally processed in our Blavet Valley workshop, the dry leaves are elegantly twisted and reveal a fresh, vegetal and gourmand bouquet, enhanced by subtle notes of chestnut and delicately toasted cereals.
When infused, the liquor displays a beautiful pale yellow-green colour. The attack is lively, marked by a gentle acidity and a fine bitterness balanced by a touch of umami that brings roundness and softness. The texture is supported by supple tannins and a delicate astringency in the finish. The overall profile is fresh and vegetal, prolonged by a subtle maritime note.
